16 Days Old Woohoo!

The boys have made it to 16 days old and they are doing great. Sorry I haven’t posted an update recently but it’s been busy times… For everyone that doesn’t know the boys both have MRSA infection, but its topical and is getting better with the prescribed ointment. We have been to an allergist now and found out they are allergic to English Walnuts hope they don’t get any cravings for those. We have had the pleasure of Ginny being here this week to help out and we are so thankful for everything she’s done. Michael we decided you can’t have Ginny back we are kidnapping her! The boys took their first bath this week and Dylan loved to float in the water Tyler was a little fussy but it was because of his gas not the water.

Things are going great, we can’t wait for all the family to come share the love and meet the boys. Below are 70 of the latest pictures we took we hope you enjoy them.

Love Sophia, Aaron, Dylan & Tyler

Settling In

Tomorrow is Dylan & Tyler’s one week Birthday :) They are growing so fast before we know it they will be walking and talking. Since we have been home we have discovered so many new things with our lovely family.

* Tyler can poop across an entire room, we should get him an award for the best pooper
* Sometimes a pee pee shower is in the forecast
* Dylan & Tyler have big beautiful smiles
* When Dylan sucks on a bottle you can see he might have Daddies dimples
* Pampers diapers seem to leak sometimes
* A changing table is an absolute necessity
* The boys could eat our entire house if it where made of milk and had a nipple
* Dylan & Tyler have the neck strength of a 1 month old baby
* Long nights are tiring but yet so fulfilling and loving
* Mommy is so beautiful and has been so amazing through everything
* Daddy has a new title of Mr. Mom and needs to watch some football
* Tyler & Dylan like to sleep with their hands above their heads
* There is no love like having your own family and raising children
* We have been using so much hand sanitizer that our skin is drying up, no germs for the boys
* Our family and friends have been so supportive through this and we are so grateful to have such loving people in our lives
* Tyler can fart louder than a bull horn
* There’s nothing that compares to the feeling we get when the boys smile
* Tyler’s belly button has already fallen off
* No jaundice for these boys, they are as pink as cotton candy

Counting Down The Days

3 Days until the Boys arrive we are so excited, anxious and a little nervous… Aaron will be updating this website regularly with photos, videos and stories. For all of our family that can’t be here we will make sure you have the inside scoop on everything. Check back daily for updates, we love everyone :)

If all goes as planned, Dylan Charles Rose & Tyler Herschel Rose will be blessing us on Wednesday 1/21/2009 at 12pm PST. We invite all of our friends and family to join in this wonderful time and help welcome the boys into the world.

The scheduled c-section is at the Providence Tarzana Medical Center 18321 Clark St., Tarzana, CA‎ – (818) 881-0800‎, once you arrive please find the “Women’s Pavilion & Resource Center (818) 609-2280”

Sophia and Aaron will be arriving at the hospital at 10am to prep for the big moment. Ceeca and Aaron will be in the operating room to support Sophia and experience this amazing blessing of life. Once the boys are delivered the doctors will check their health and then they will be taken to the nursery for their first bath. This is when everyone can see them for the first time through the infamous nursery glass. While the boys are bathing in joy, Sophia will be in a recover room for 3 hours after the c-section. After the 3 hour recovery period we will be moved into a LDR room (Labor Delivery Recovery) where our next 3 days will be spent. Once in the LDR room everyone is welcome to come see Sophia and meet Dylan & Tyler for the first time. For all the family and friends that are not in the area we will be publishing a private website with videos, pictures and more. You’re on it now :)

We will be staying in the hospital most likely until Sat the 24th so anyone that doesn’t want to commute back and forth is more than welcome to stay at our house.

We understand that everyone is excited to meet the boys, please be patient and understand we need everyone’s support during this time.

Please contact Aaron via cell phone to get in touch with Sophia (562) 587-6860
